He has a B A (Building Economics) Hons. degree from the University of Nairobi and Master In Business Administration from USIU. He is also a graduate of Strathmore Business School Executive Education Program. He is a Registered Quantity Surveyor with BORAQS and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has published and presented several papers as a resource person in professional forums. He is an active Arbitrator and Mediator.

He has over 32 years’ experience in quantity surveying, cost management, contract administration, arbitration and project management. He has provided leadership in all projects in the office ranging from commercial, institutional, residential, industrial, mixed developments and the like.

He is a member of Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIARB), Kenya Branch.

He is a past Chairman of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) and Muthaiga Golf Club where he was also the golf captain. He is a Non-Executive Director of KENGEN.
